Q & A

Q: I’m not flexible at all. Can I still join a yoga class?

A: Absolutely! Yoga is not just for flexible people. In fact, yoga classes are designed to help you improve flexibility, strength, and balance over time. Everyone starts from their own unique point, and the practice is about progress, not perfection. Our instructors will provide modifications and variations to suit different levels, ensuring you can participate and benefit from the class regardless of your current flexibility.

Q: I’m not in great shape. Will I be able to keep up with the class?

A: Yes, you can! Yoga is a practice that welcomes all body types and fitness levels. Classes are typically structured to cater to a range of participants, from beginners to more advanced practitioners. The instructor will guide you through the poses, offering modifications and adjustments to accommodate individual needs. Over time, you’ll gradually build strength, endurance, and flexibility with consistent practice.

Q: I’m concerned about feeling self-conscious in a yoga class. What can I do?

A: It’s natural to feel a bit self-conscious when starting something new, but rest assured, our classes are inclusive and non-judgmental spaces. Everyone is focused on their own practice and journey. Our typical class size is one to two people.

Q: What if I don’t have the right yoga gear or equipment?

A: Yoga is a practice that requires minimal equipment. Our studio provides yoga mats, and blocks. However, if you prefer to use your own gear, you can but is not needed. Comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows for ease of movement is typically recommended. Remember, the focus of yoga is on the practice itself, so don’t worry too much about having all the latest gear.

Q: How does the small class size benefit participants?

A: With fewer participants, our yoga instructors can provide individual attention, offering personalized guidance, corrections, and modifications based on each participant’s needs and abilities.

Q: What if I am out of shape?

A:The best way to get into shape is to find something you enjoy doing and do it consistently!

Yoga gives me a time in the week when I can refresh myself.
